Farmers Community Radio Workshop

Lokakarya Radio Komunitas Petani On April 14 - 15, 2010, all managers representative Farmers Community Radio (RKP) from the three districts, namely RKP Trisna Alami FM of Kulon Progo ; RKP Intan FM and RKP Suara Manunggal of Gunung Kidul (Yogyakarta), RKP Merapi FM, RKP Jaringan Petani Hutan and RKP Mandiri FM from Boyolali (Central Java) gathered to conduct workshops Lesman Community Radio. Farmers who attended Community Radio is a assisted Lesman, starting from RKP Trisna Alami FM that was established in 2003 to RKP Merapi FM began, accompanied by the year 2008.

The purpose of this workshop are:

1. Community Radio Managers with the development of farmers able to adapt, progress, problems, opportunities and challenges ahead in accordance with the needs of the community to get information.
2. Community radio can work in their respective areas as bridge media and information society community interaction..

At the occasion of this workshop, attended two speakers of the Network of Community Radio, Radio Network Communities of Central Java Province (JRK-Central Java), Renaldi and Yogyakarta Province of Community Radio Network Mardiyono (JRKY), from the present speakers who are expected to give a picture of the problem which is generally encountered and how Community Radio Network business to help the radios in the face of these problems, as well as how the ideas of community radio development in the future.
