The principle of Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
IPM can be done by:
- Physical, killing organisms manually disruptors
- Biology, take advantage of the role of biological agents such as predators and pathogens
- Technical culture, with the planting of tolerant varieties, plant spacing, drainage arrangements, balanced fertilization, thinning fruit, etc..
- Chemical, is a last alternative, taking into account economic threshold.

Pesticide Control with Biological (natural)
Control can also use biological pertisida environmentally friendly, so called because these plant chemicals can be easily broken down, can be made by farmers for raw materials available around the location, and making an affordable price.

Vegetable pesticide weaknesses are:
a). Short durability (very easy to change / break down), therefore the volume application must be carefully planned to be efficient,
b). The resulting concentration was not consistent because it is very depending on the freshness of raw materials.
c). Processing standards required for each plant and the application standards for controlling the use of OPT
